Lesson learned, that's for sure.Another Sewing Scientisthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02945784360747028884noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2433539191806188695.post-83118190891947236122011-09-16T10:42:29.762-04:002011-09-16T10:42:29.762-04:00I guess that Lycra was flocked like a cheap velvet...I guess that Lycra was flocked like a cheap velvet and it melted in the dryer? If in doubt, wash by hand!
Love the tie dye.Justine of SewCountryChickhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03818220592978383305noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2433539191806188695.post-89193899599582911232011-09-13T14:51:54.224-04:002011-09-13T14:51:54.224-04:00Heather: I'd never seen this before either. ...Heather: I'd never seen this before either. Of course, I've seen wool get eaten by critters and nylon melt under too much heat, but this one is still a mystery to me. The linen I'm using for the shift dress is really fray-able and shifty, so it's fully bias bound. Well, almost fully bound. I have to finish it off today!
Colette: hello to you too! It's always nice to see who's out there reading.
I (and my man) are still trying to clean up this black dust. It's like it's multiplying around here!Another Sewing Scientisthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02945784360747028884noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2433539191806188695.post-53000066204690109262011-09-13T00:58:42.940-04:002011-09-13T00:58:42.940-04:00Hey there!
